Methodology

Is there sufficient knowledge of IWRM amongst those people?

There is not enough knowledge of integrated water resources management (IWRM) among those people who live in Middle Juba because the Juba River flows through this area and there is no integrated water resources management (IWRM) of the Juba River but there are springs that can be used for agricultural irrigation.

Is IWRM Difficult in your area? Why

No or yes, it is not difficult in the Middle Juba region because it has a river and a large agro-pastoralist who is in need of integrated water resources management (IWRM )  so it is in need of financial support, but there is a lack of security, so it is possible that integrated water resources management (IWRM )  will be difficult.

Challenges faced by IWRM?

·         Lack of knowledge in the local community

·         environmental insecurity

·         lack of local support from the government and businesses,

·         people who are not aware of the importance of (IWRM)

Solutions

·         The lack of knowledge of the local community

is a big problem and the solution is to increase the knowledge of the local community, whether it is the knowledge of integrated water resources management (IWRM) at least to promote agricultural irrigation and to benefit from rainfall.

·         Environmental insecurity

is another problem, the solution is to work together on environmental security, the community and the government to achieve stability.

·         The lack of local support from the government and businesses,

the solution is to understand the needs of the area and need financial and intellectual support to promote integrated water resources management (IWRM) of the region.

·         people who are not aware of the importance of (IWRM)

the solution is to make them aware of the importance of integrated water resources management (IWRM) to find a solution to the environmental problems of integrated water resources management (IWRM).
